"Thy Kingdom Come is a global prayer movement which the Archbishop of Canterbury is inviting people around the world to join. The wave of prayer will start on 30th May and run for 10 days between the Christian festivals of Ascension and Pentecost to 9th June. It’s not complicated – it simply encourages people to pray in whatever way they want and with whoever they want for others to come to know Jesus Christ."

A range of resources including family boxes, prayer cards, and a novena prayer can be ordered at or you can simply request a home pack. You can also request a prayer journal with readings and reflections for the period between Ascension Day and Pentecost. If you cannot access the website please telephone tel: 01903 263 354.

We are also being encouraged to pray for five people until Pentecost, that they will come to know the love of Jesus and be drawn into a relationship with him – that they will hunger and thirst to know more, that they will be drawn into prayer and desire to become a follower of Jesus and sharing what they learn with others.
