Church of England Diocese of Salisbury Broad Town

All Souls Service

An online version of our usual service remembering those we have lost. The service booklet can be downloaded by following the link below.

If you are local to any of the churches within the Benefice of Lyneham and Woodhill (Bradenstoke, Broad Town, Clyffe Pypard, Hilmarton, Lyneham and Tockenham) you will be able to pop in at some point on All Saints Day, Sunday 1st November 2020, to collect a votive candle and holder as a gift from us all and a focus for your remembering. If you are further away we invite you to use a candle of your own, or something else as a memento of the people you are thinking about.

The churches in Clyffe Pypard, Hilmarton, Lyneham and Tockenham will be open between 3pm and 3.30pm. The church in Broad Town will be open from 10.30am to 11.30am and from 2.30pm to 3.30pm. Candles will be available in Bradenstoke after the 10.30am service.

At 3 pm in those churches that are open (this will be in the morning service at Bradenstoke) we will read those names connected with each church and say the Lord’s Prayer and there will be one of the church members present so you can collect a candle.
