Holy Communions and what to expect
Sundays at 10am Wednesdays at 10.30am
What we ask of you…
We can accommodate around 25 in the congregation
You will therefore need to book a place by phoning the Parish Office on 01793 853272 by midday on the preceding Wednesday (for the Sunday service) and by midday on the preceding Sunday (for the Wednesday service) and leaving the names and telephone numbers of those who wish to attend
We will retain the names and telephone numbers of all those attending for NHS Test and Trace purposes (In line with guidance issued by the Department for Health and Social Care, we will keep your details safely and in compliance with GDPR legislation for 21 days before securely disposing of or deleting them. We will only share your details with NHS Test and Trace, if asked, in the event that it is needed to help stop the spread of coronavirus. We will not use your details for any other purposes or pass them on to anyone else)
If any service is oversubscribed we will book individuals on to the following week’s service, unless informed otherwise
The Sunday service will be recorded for posting on our YouTube channel and made available via our website, Facebook account and weekly email.
For the safety of yourself and others…
We will ensure the regular cleaning of the church and provide hand sanitiser at the door
The priest leading the service will observe careful hygiene practices throughout
There will be no congregational singing
We will produce single-use service sheets which we ask that you take away after the service (we will also make these available on the website beforehand for those who may want to print out and bring their own copy)
Communion will be received in one kind only, and communicants are asked to receive the bread standing
Please observe the necessary physical distancing requirements and be guided by the sidesmen and sideswomen throughout
Face covering is mandatory (unless you are exempt per government guidance). Please note however that this is not a replacement for physical distancing and regular hand washing.
Please avoid touching surfaces unnecessarily during your visit
Please do not attend if you have symptoms of COVID-19 or are feeling unwell
Please take note of Government advice if you are in a vulnerable category
We are doing everything we can to keep everyone safe – so we hope you understand and will help us in this. Thank you.
