DESCRIPTION:The season of Easter offers rich pickings for choral programme
  creators. The AVE spring concert at the church of St. Bartholomew and All
  Saints in Royal Wotton Bassett on Saturday April 25th at 7.00pm will incl
 ude special pieces by Byrd\, Rutter\, Scheidt\, Stanford and Weelkes which
  reflect the joy of the Resurrection.\n\nOur main work will be the motet B
 WV229 “Komm\, Jesu\, komm” by J.S.Bach and we will also feature variou
 s Spring-related partsongs such as “All in the April Evening” and “W
 e’ll gather lilacs in the spring again” together with a handful of Jaz
 z standards. The organist and pianist Simon Dinsdale will be performing wi
 th us and we are sure that there will be something to suit all tastes.\nWe
  hope that you are able to join us for what promises to be a rousing eveni
 ng of beautiful music.
