In recent weeks we've been taking one safe step forward at a time and gradually building up what we can confidently deliver. Both churches are well equipped with hand sanitiser which everyone is asked to use on the way in, and seating is marked out to ensure safe distancing. We're now required to wear a mask in church or in the church hall for worship. When a minister or a reader is addressing the congregation, though, we make sure that extra distancing provides protection instead, as this helps those who lip-read or whose hearing is less than 100%. If you wish, please feel free to bring your own Bible. We hear pre-recorded hymns, but we're currently not allowed to sing. If numbers coming to St James' exceed capacity, then we have safely spaced seating in the church hall, to which the service is streamed live.

Folk at home can also participate through the internet at the same time for our live-stream here or later from a recording which can be found on our YouTube Channel.

Do join us one way or another!
