Produced by Bridget Langstaff and Gordon Giles, the Canon Chancellor, the Service will be broadcast on the Cathedral website and via Facebook at 3pm on Thursday 24 December and viewable thereafter. All are welcome to watch and a particular invitation is offered to children’s groups and parishes who may not be able to gather on Christmas Eve as usual. The Service includes carols led by the Cathedral Choir, a children’s video nativity play, intercessions and some reflections on a Covid Christmas given by a younger member of the cathedral community and a Mum shares her hopes and fears about giving birth during lockdown. Christmas is different this year, and so is this Nativity Drama and all are invited to join in.
