 al Parochial Council Meeting (APCM) will take place on 12th April 2026 wit
 hin the 10.00am service of All Age Worship at All Saints. There will be no
  service at St. Philip & St. James\, Upnor on this date. \n\nWe will have 
 elections for:\n\nChurchwardens\, PCC Members and Deanery Synod Members: I
 n this parish\, PCC members are elected each year. Currently under the Chu
 rch Representation Rules we have to agree that Readers become\, ex officio
 \, members of the PCC.\n\nPlease note that all those standing for election
  must be on the Electoral Roll and prepared to sign a ‘Fit and Proper Pe
 rson’ form and complete the necessary declaration to enable a DBS check.
  If you have any questions regarding this\, please see Sue Jones\, PCC Sec
 retary or email the church office.\n\nElectoral Roll: The revision of our 
 Electoral Roll will take place from 13th – 27th March 2026.  The new ro
 ll will be published on Saturday 28th March.  The Electoral Roll is our c
 hurch membership list - being on the roll allows you to stand as a church 
 officer and to vote at the APCM. Most of you will already be on the existi
 ng roll and therefore do not need to complete a new form\, but please chec

  April walk promises to be really great with Spring all around us. Do join
  us for our Upnor\, Islingham Farm and Beacon Hill (downwards) walk\, meet
 ing friends\, and enjoying some tasty treats afterwards. This walk is gene
 rally on asphalt paths\, even though we are definitely out of town.\n\nThe
  3 mile walk starts outside St. Philip and St. James church\, Upnor and wa
 lks on mainly quiet roads and paths. We cross the dual carriageway using t
 he high footbridge\, go through Wainscott\, to Islingham Farm\, where we h
 ope to see new-born lambs. We climb back on a firm path to the top of Upch
 at Road\, then descend Beacon Hill ending with hot or cold drinks\, and ta
 sty treats back at Upnor church. The shorter (2 mile) walk is around the v
 illage and shoreline of Upnor. We all return together for the refreshments
 .\n\nPlease note\, when leaving the church westward\, there is a verge wit
 h a footpath only in places as far as Frog Island pond\, so please take ex
 tra care here. The walk involves some climb and descent.

 rity. The walks are a great opportunity to have a chat and discover some l
 ocal amenities. Dogs on leads welcome\; children under 14 must be accompan

 from either All Saints\, Frindsbury\, St Philip and St James\, Upnor or el
 sewhere depending on the route. At the end of the walk\, we enjoy drinks a
 nd a selection of refreshments with toilets available. Once a year there i
 s a longer 6 miles walk around the Deanery to raise funds for a nature cha
 rity. The walks are a great opportunity to have a chat and discover some l
 ocal amenities. Dogs on leads welcome\; children under 14 must be accompan
 ied.  All welcome. Please share\, and feel free to invite family\, friend
