The Priory Church of St. Mary.

The parish worship of God has certainly gone on in Letheringham since the second half of the 11th century, for a church is mentioned in the Domesday book in 1086. How long the present church has been in parochial use is not certain for it is thought that it was preceded by one about a mile away which served the parish until its demolition some time in the 17th century. No trace of this building has been found, but numerous skeletons were unearthed near Letheringham Mill and Letheringham Old Hall.

Benefice Holy Communion - St. Peter's Church, Charsfield

for 1 hour

Please join us at our Benefice Service being held at St. Peter's Church, Charsfield, Sunday 5th May, 10am. The Benefice Choir will also be present at this service, to which all are welcome.

This service will be immediately followed with the APCM of the parish churches of Ashfield; Charsfield; Cretingham; Dallinghoo; Letheringham; and Monewden.
The APCM will take place at Charsfield Village Hall (IP13 7RG), and will start at 11.30am. Refreshments will also be provided.
