St Edward's, Stow

Welcome to St Edward's, Stow-on-the-Wold.

We are a medieval building that is both a tourist destination with our famous North Door and a faithful and prayerful worshipping community.

We are open every day from 9am to 5pm in the summer and 9am to dusk in the winter.

All are welcome at our 10.30 am Sunday service which is a mixture of traditional and more informal styles. All our services have music on the organ or piano.

During the summer we have over one thousand visitors a day. You are very welcome to rest a while. There is water on our picnic tables, a prayer tree and free resources for reflection and a colouring table for children.

If you are bringing a tour group to the church please check with us that we are open as we are a working church and may be shut to visitors for weddings and funerals. We do ask for a donation of £4 per person for visitors to enable us to keep this beautiful church maintained today and for the future.
