St Edward's, Stow

Welcome to St Edward's, Stow-on-the-Wold.

We are a medieval building that is both a tourist destination with our famous North Door and a faithful and prayerful worshipping community. 

We are open every day from 9am to 5pm in the summer and 9am to dusk in the winter. 

All are welcome at our 10.30 am Sunday service which is a mixture of traditional and more informal styles. All our services have music on the organ or piano.

We are hosting regular concerts which vary from classical music to more popular offerings as well as hosting Music at Stow in September. Please check our events section for up to date information.

If you are bringing a tour group to the church please check with us that we are open as we are a working church and may be shut to visitors for weddings and funerals. We do ask for a donation of £4 per person for guided tours to enable us to keep this beautiful church maintained today and for the future.

St Edward's, Stow

Our regular service in Stow takes place at 10.30 each Sunday, and is normally a service of Holy Communion.
Coffee or sherry are usually served after the service. Whether you live in Stow or are visiting from elsewhere, you are very welcome to join us.
