Holy Trinity is an ancient church with round tower and thatched nave :There is unique tracery on chancel east gable (along with some beautiful stained glass).
Catherine Suckling, the mother of Admiral Lord Nelson was born and baptised here, and the family are still in residence.
According to one author, 'church of astonishing interest for one of its size.' A 'jewel' of a church
We have a wealth of stained glass, a spectacular east window and at the spring and autumn equinox the figure of Christ on the Rood screen is 'illuminated'. Many visitors come to see this and it has proved to be of considerable interest, being a feature not seen since the Reformation. -see link/calendar for dates
Warm, friendly, eclectic congregation of 40 - 50, generally older : visitors are always most welcome.
