WELCOME TO HOLY TRINITY CHURCH, BRIDGWATER
Our new vicar, Rev Will Lane, joined us on 7th September 2011. He firmly believes is the limitless and liberal love of Jesus – a love which Jesus calls us to share in this generation.
Holy Trinity's tradition is at the low end of catholic with members of the congregation from all types of churchmanship. Our church is a welcoming and inclusive place, and our ministry extends beyond the church building aiming to demonstrate and share the love of Christ in the wider community.
Holy Trinity Church was built in 1961 and is located in Hamp Street which is a right turn off Rhode Lane which is itself off the Taunton Road (A38)
The church will hold up to 200 people for services. We have a small Sunday School for under 10's.
We are a growing church with a small number of children, but we are always looking for children to serve at the altar.
All the main church festivals are kept.
The parish supports the work of TEAR Fund, the Children's Society and Christian Aid
The parish covers South Bridgwater and five schools.
We have Brownies and Guides, but the Boys Brigade is currently suspended awaiting leaders.
The Bridgwater Branch of the Mothers Union is based at Holy Trinity Church.
For weddings and Baptisms please contact the vicar who will be please to arrange to see you either at The New Vicarage or at your home or in the church.
