Saturday 4th May 2024, 10.30am until 12.30, Ditton Priors - First Saturday Coffee Morning in church.
Join us for our regular Coffee Morning in church. We look forward to seeing you. Everyone welcome. No charge.
Monday 6th May 2024, from 11.00am, Ditton Priors - Bridgnorth Walk Day
The junior walk this year will be starting from Cleobury North but the adult walkers will be coming through Ditton as
usual. The church will be open for coffee and cakes as usual from 11:00am onwards.
Sunday 12th May 2024, Chetton, Midland Oil Engine Club event and Tractor Run
On the day, Revd Joe will be sending off the tractors at 10am for
their journey around the countryside. We will have an excellent display of engines, big and small. Vintage agricultural
vehicles, military vehicles and vintage cars, a 1965 Abbott tank and light aircraft. The 1970 Harrier Jump jet
will be started up at 3pm for those who wish to hear it. There will be craft stalls to browse and refreshments
will be available all day.
We ask for donations on entry. These will go to the Midlands Air Ambulance, St Giles Church, Chetton and the
Midland Oil Engine Club. Look forward to seeing you there!
Saturday 18th May 2024, from 1pm, Ditton Priors – Church Fete
In and around the church.
The fete will be open at 1pm with the BBQ. The usual stalls, tombola etc., tea and cakes and music from the
saxophone players. All contributions welcome.
Saturday 15th June 2024, Starting from church at 11.30 am, Ditton Priors - Sponsored Walk for Church Funds
Sponsor forms available soon from church. A light lunch follows the walk, served
in church. And think of the benefits of all that fresh air and exercise!
Saturday 15th June 2024. Neenton Promise Auction at The Down Inn at 7.00pm. To raise funds for repairs to the area around the Stained Glass window which is the memorial for the loss of Frank Amies, John Leath and Harry Yapp in WWI. Promises have been very generous from businesses, local people and friends to whom we send a big ‘thankyou’. Tickets available at £25 per person to include a 2-course meal.
