As a Parish within the Diocese of Bath and Wells we take our safeguarding responsibilities seriously.
We have a small safeguarding team consisting of the Parish priest and the Parish safeguarding officers who hold overall responsibility for safeguarding.
Safeguarding is included in the agenda at all of our PCC meetings, even if there is nothing to report.
In accordance with the guidance from Bath and Wells all members of the PCC and (where such roles exist) Young Church Leader, Youth workers, Pastoral Assistants, Musical Director undergo a process of safer recruitment and safeguarding training in line with the national safeguarding training.
