About Us

The Church of St Margaret in Spaxton, Somerset, England has some parts from the 12th and 13th centuries but is predominantly from the 15th century, and  has been a place of Christian Worship for more than 700 years.  Much has changed but the message of Christ still guides us. Come and join our friendly congregation !

As well as our regular Sunday Worship, we are also very involved with our local Primary School and a team from Open the Book, visit regularly bringing Bible stories to life through engaging drama. The children from the School visit the church for special services and trips up the tower once a year.

We run the Spaxton Rainbow Café in conjunction with members of the wider community. It is open every Friday morning offering delicious cakes, snacks and drinks. Alongside this is our Toddler Group where little ones from babies to toddlers enjoy games and parents enjoy a chat and some refreshments.

We are always happy to hear from potential volunteers, to help in the Café, bake delicious cakes or spend time with the Toddlers. (Ring Kate 01278 671168 for further info).
