Getting here
St Andrew's is open daily for everybody to enjoy its peace and quietness.
We are from the Central Anglican tradition but people from a wide range of church backgrounds worship with us. We enjoy high standards in liturgy, music and preaching and are a friendly welcoming church. If you are new to church, just tell the person handing out the hymn books and they will find someone who will sit with you and guide you through the service.
Our main 10am service uses the modern language of Common Worship; the 8am service and midweek Communion use the Book of Common Prayer.
There is a Sunday School at the 10am service except on the third Sunday of the month which is an All Age Service.
We welcome enquiries about weddings, baptisms and other services marking life events. Please see our website for details.
Our congregation is made up of people of all ages and we have a varied programme of social events where we can get to know each other a little better.
Our Priest in Charge is the Revd Eleanor Whalley.
