Colesbourne, St James' church

Tucked away in an idyllic spot right next to the beautiful Colesbourne Park famous for its snowdrops, the ancient St James’ Church welcomes visitors to discover its rich history dating all the way back to 1050. Inside this calm sanctuary, you can marvel at rare treasures like a 15th-century "wine glass" pulpit. This beautiful church has provided a welcoming venue for weddings and christenings. As a proud part of the Churn Valley Benefice, our doors are wide open, and we invite you to join our warm inclusive congregation for reflective worship and joyful community events.
