2024 is the 80th Anniversary of the successful allied D-DAY landings on the beaches of Normandy on the 6th of June 1944. The Normandy landings became the largest seaborne invasion in history and played a crucial role in the liberation of Western Europe from Nazi occupation.
Our LEA Group of 9 parishes are holding on Sunday 9th June 2024 a Group Service of Commemoration in Springthorpe Church at 10am. You are all warmly invited.
