St John
Important information about Worship in St John's and the Astley, Tyldesley, Mosley Common Team churches.
You are warmly invited to join us for worship.
From 14th January 2024 a revised Worship Pattern was introduced to ensure the pattern was sustainable as we prepared to enter a time of vacancy.
The Astley, Tyldesley, Mosley Common Team Rector left on the 11th February to take up a new post.
Each week, across the Team there will be
1 x communion service and
1 x non-communion service and
1 church will have no service.
The non -communion service may be a Café Church/Service of the Word/Family Service. Worship services start at 10am.
There will be occasions when it is necessary and/or appropriate to have 1 communion service in the Team - see the Services and Events page for specific details.
This parish is now in vacancy
