The Quinquennial Inspection of the church building requires circuit testing and portable appliance testing on a five-year cycle. These will be carried out all day on Wednesday 8 May 2024 and it may continue into Thursday 9 May.

Tuition with tied clappers for initial bell control is normally available by arrangement to start at 6.45pm. Normal (Noisy) practice is from 7.30pm - 9pm. Attendance averages 12.

Now that we are in an inter-regnum, this service will be led by a lay member of the benefice.

Holy Communion to Common Worship format celebrated by a guest priest.

On Sunday 19 May – NGS Badby Open Gardens day – St. Mary’s will be open for tea and cakes from 1pm till 5pm. Come along to rest from your walking!

This short service is held once a month on the Tuesday evening following the third Sunday at St Mary’s Badby at 6.30pm.

There is always a brief talk about someone inspirational.

Coffee morning - The monthly coffee morning in St Mary’s Church will be held on the 3rd Tuesday from 10.30am to 12 noon.

The monthly church lottery will be drawn about 11.30am. Everyone will be most welcome to come along for coffee, tea, home-made cake and chat.

The Daventry Branch of the Peterborough Diocesan Guild of Church Bellringers will hold is monthly practice at Badby.

Ringing from 3pm until a short service at 4.30pm, followed by sandwiches, cakes and tea. Evening ringing will be at Eydon.

You are welcome to mingle and perhaps have try.
