On the 2nd Sunday of each month except August there is an informal family service at 4pm/

We have a growing ministry to families and children and established ministry to older people. As such, we welcome people of all ages including children and young people.Together with members of our sister community of St Francis we share many opportunities to learn about and to grow in faith, as well as social activities including outings, music and arts events for all ages.

St. Luke's is an early monastic church, built in the 12th century as a place of worship for Augustinian monks from the nearby St. James Abbey. During the late 13th and early 14th centuries, the church was extended to its existing size with the addition of the south porch, aisles and chancel. It has a mixture of architecture owing to its gradual construction across the centuries.
