Getting here

As the map shows the villages of North and South Wheatley are jut south of the A620 Retford to Gainsborough road where there is a short stretch of dual carriageway.

We are a Methodist and Anglican Ecumenical Partnership.  Our parish covers the adjacent villages of North and South Wheatley.  We continue to use both the Anglican church of St Peter and St Paul Which stands at the top of Church Hill in the highest part of North Wheatley and the Methodist Church on Low Street, North Wheatley.  We also have responsibility for the ruins of St Helen's Church in South Wheatley and the graveyard in which they stand.  The graveyard in North Wheatley was closed in the late 19th century and is now used for the internment of ashes only.  The parish burial ground is the graveyard around St Helen's in South Wheatley.

There is a Service in the village at 10.45 am on almost every Sunday of the year.  The venue alternates between Chapel and Church. We also have a Junior Church.

In the Anglican view of the world we a part of The Clays Group, Retford benefice within the Deanery of Bassetlaw and Bawtry.  In the Methodist view we are part of the Trinity Circuit in the Sheffield District.  Our Team Vicar, Revd Mark Cantrill has the cure of seven Anglican parishes. and two Methodist chapels.
