About Us
A very friendly and welcoming parish church, St. James' stands at the heart of the village of Flockton on the Barnsley Road, half way between Huddersfield and Wakefield in West Yorkshire.
The Church of St. James the Great has stood for over 150 years. Despite the very different conditions and changes that have occurred over the years, St. James' continues to seek to be outward reaching in its mission and service. We are committed to praying for the community of Flockton and the wider world. We hope that everyone in the village, as well as visitors, will find themselves at home and part of the community in their church
