Getting to us

St. Johns is in a prominent position at the corner of St. John's Vale and Lewisham Way (the A20), almost opposite Lewisham College, about half way between Lewisham and New Cross. We're on the right as you go towards London, at the top of the hill. The church is easily accessible by public transport. The 21, 136, 321, & 436 buses stop right outside in Lewisham Way, and St John's Station (with rather infrequent trains to London Bridge) is almost next to the church on the other side.

Holy Trinity Church is on the Orchard Estate between Lewisham Road and the river Ravensbourne. It is on the corner of Bennett Grove and Orchard Hill, just off Coldbath Street, about 200 yards north of Elverson Road Docklands Light Railway. It's about a quarter of a mile from the 53 or 177 bus route at Blackheath Road or the 180 and 199 at Lewisham Road or the 47 and 225 on Brookmill Road.

If you are coming by train Lewisham Station is probably a better bet, with about 8 or 10 trains an hour even on Sundays, as well as the DLR. It is a short bus ride or 10 to 15 minutes walk away from either church. New Cross Gate Station for the East London Line and trains to Sydenham & Croydon, is less than 10 minutes away from St. John's by bus, and New Cross Station is pretty near as well.

Parking is very restricted at both sites, and if you come by car you will probably have to park in a nearby street. If you drive to St. John's, please don't block access from the road to the church door - we have a minibus that calls to give a lift to some of our disabled and elderly members, and it needs to get right up to the door!
