Margaretting Church

Welcome to St Margarets, the village church of Margaretting. One of England's 'Thousand best churches' according to Simon Jenkins, this church is known for its 15th century Jesse window, its bell tower and its beauty in many other ways. It does have a worshipping community with a church service once a month, normally Holy Communion. The location is unusual, the wrong side of a railway line - please park on the near side.

Safeguarding

We are committed to safeguarding children, young people and adults from harm. We follow the House of Bishops guidance and policies and have our own Parish Safeguarding Officer (PSO). Our Diocese of Chelmsford’s safeguarding pages contain vital links and information including contacts for the Diocesan Safeguarding Advisor who advises our PSO. Our Parish Safeguarding Officer is Frances Pennell-Buck who may be contacted on 07711191828. Information on the Diocesan Safeguarding policies and contact details for the Diocesan Safeguarding Officer can be found at the link below (where it says Read More).
