We are delighted that the Reverend Lynda Sebbage has been appointed as Team Vicar with the Saffron Walden team, with special responsibility for the parishes of Debden and Wimbish. Meanwhile...
The Rev'd Jeremy Trew, Rector of St Mary's Saffron Walden, will be 'looking after us' as we have an interregnum. Rest assured that our church services and social events will continue. So please keep supporting the church in Wimbish.

Welcome to Wimbish Church which has been a place of prayer and worship in this community from the early 12th Century. Although located a little way out of the Tye Green hamlet of the village, off Maple Lane, the church is an integral part of village community life. Alongside regular services we hold social activities where church and community members mix freely meeting in St Paul's Mission Hall, Tye Green, or in the church and grounds itself. Festival Services welcome larger numbers from the community to the church along with the pupils from Wimbish School a few times a year.
