Music In Our Church - New Choir Members Welcome!

Music at St Lawrence's plays a major and very important part within our worship. Many years ago St Lawrence's had a large church choir; sadly this is something that has disappeared from many churches including St Lawrence's.

However we are very lucky to have a small dedicated group who constitute our Choir at St Lawrence's but understand that people lead busy lives and are not always able to offer 100% commitment. This does not matter! 

It would be good to see you as often as you can be weekly or monthly! We have a practice every week before the Sunday Liturgy at 09:15 which you are more than welcome to come along to. We sing a wide variety of music from early to modern that fits the liturgy of the day, and don’t worry if you can’t read music as full training is given!

The Choir then sings at the Sunday Service which is at 10:00 for just over 1 hour 10 minutes
