Our Building

Powell & Son windows around the Nave, Lady Chapel, Sanctuary and Reception area.

'The Crucifixion without the two Thieves' is our east window, in memory of Rev. Richard Moore, our first vicar.

A series of windows with images of Christ with children, alongside young saints, sits in our Lady Chapel and are in memory of Rev. Harry Bolton, our second and longest serving clergyman.

A memorial to Nursing Sister Clara Evans, who lost her life in the second Anglo-Boer war is in our reception area.

We have a window of St John the Evangelist in the nave.

It is often possible to open the church for individual prayer during St John's Centre opening hours - please contact us beforehand to avoid disappointment.

The church can often be opened upon request during St John's Centre opening hours. Please contact us to make prior arrangements if possible, to ensure we can be prepared for your visit.
