St Paul's Church Addlestone

"The parish of Addlestone is committed to the safeguarding of children, young people and adults. We follow the House of Bishops guidance and policies and have our own Parish Safeguarding Officer (PSO). The Diocese of Guildford’s safeguarding pages contain vital links and information including contacts for the Diocesan Safeguarding Advisor (DSA) who advises our PSO. If you are concerned that a child or adult has been harmed or may be at risk of harm please contact the DSA. If you have immediate concerns about the safety of someone, please contact the police and your local authority Children or Adults Services."

Meeting during term time, Toddlers was set up to outreach into the community and provide a service by offering the opportunity for parents/carers to get together for friendship and support, and the chance for toddlers to learn to socialise together.

Toddlers meets in the church each Thursday morning in term time from 9.30-11.15am. It is open to all pre-school children and their parents/carers. We start with general play with toys and a craft activity from 9.30 to 10.45, then tidy up for story time and the children have fruit. We end with a sing-along. There is tea and coffee for the adults and squash and bread sticks for the children. Parents are expected to stay with and supervise their children, and there is a small charge of £2 per family to cover costs.
