St Peter's, Walworth, Liverpool Grove

St Peter's Church has stood at the heart of this community for nearly 190 years, witnessing to the love of God. Come and see - everyone's welcome! Please look at our Facebook page at https://www.facebook.com/stpeterswalworth/

As a church we rely entirely on the financial generosity of supporters like you. Your support for St Peter's, Walworth helps us to stay open and serving our whole community. By giving regularly through the Parish Giving Scheme, you are also ensuring that our building is maintained, staff are paid, and St Peter's doors are open to the local community.

If you are able, please inflation-link your gift; this is an enormous help to us as we face rising costs over the years. If you are UK taxpayer, please make a Gift Aid declaration; this increases your gift by 25% at no cost to you - and each year Gifit Aid (free from the Government) helps us to balance our books.

Thank you for your generous support – it is greatly appreciated.

The parish of Walworth: St Peter is committed to the safeguarding of children, young people and adults. We follow the House of Bishops guidance and policies and have our own Parish Safeguarding Officer(s), PSOs. The Diocese of Southwark’s safeguarding pages contain vital links and information including contacts for the Diocesan Safeguarding Advisor (DSA) who advise our PSOs. If you are concerned that a child or adult has been harmed or may be at risk of harm please contact the DSA. If you have immediate concerns about the safety of someone, please contact the police and your local authority Children or Adults Services.

What's on

Simple Mass at 9 O'Clock!

Occuring
Every Sunday at for 50 mins
Venue
St Peter's, Walworth, Liverpool Grove
Address
Liverpool Grove Walworth Southwark, SE17 2HH, United Kingdom

This is a new Mass for St Peter's and we hope you'll come along and see what it's like! It is simpler than the 10.30am Festive Mass. The 9 o'clock Mass is a 'Said Mass with hymns', so there's still music, but not a full sung Mass setting with organist. And it's still be in St Peter's formal but fun tradition of modern catholic worship. And you can take part in any way you like - get involved! As it's a new service, there are plenty of ways you can make it possible: welcoming, reading, serving at the altar, and more! It's open to children and adults of all ages - we all worship together (if you'd like special worship for your toddler or teen, come along at 10.30am). It's a new adventure!
