SAFEGUARDING OF CHILDREN & VULNERABLE ADULTS

CHILDLINE – ONLINE, ON THE PHONE, ANYTIME - 0800 11 11

Childline is there for children 24/7, even on Christmas Day, and it’s common for children to confide in Childline about abuse for the first time during December and January. With the cost-of-living crisis this could be even more likely this winter.

When many of our other services are closed for Christmas, Childline is open.

Over the past year Childline service has delivered 15,515 counselling sessions where children have spoken about the abuse they have suffered or are experiencing

Young people can call from any phone and it won’t appear on the bill or call list.

Their website is here for more information and resources https://www.childline.org.uk/
