About Us

The Parish of Westbury is part of the White Horse Team Ministry, made up of Westbury parish and Dilton Marsh parish and serving Westbury, Westbury Leigh, Dilton Marsh and Brokerswood.

All Saints’ Church is the Parish Church of Westbury.

We meet every Sunday morning at 9.30am.

We meet after our main service on Sunday for tea, coffee and biscuits and a period of fellowship - please stay and chat.

Our congregation members are predominantly older people but we are keen to welcome families and hold First Steps to Worship every Wednesday morning in term time at 9.30am. We hold regular activities for young people and you are always welcome to join us for worship.

Facilities

We have a corner for children with books and toys to keep them occupied but we love having children with us so don't worry that they might be noisy!

We have a toilet with a baby changing table.

There is access without steps through the West door.

The Building

The church stands in the centre of the town in a handsome churchyard surrounded by cottages and footpaths at the head of the market place. It is a spiritual focus for the town.

All Saints' Church was built in the second half of the 14th century with some later additions, probably on the site of a previous timber church.

It is a fine, stone, Grade 1 listed building transitional between the decorative and perpendicular styles. For over 600 years the church has stood as both a sign of God's presence with his people in this community and as a witness of the devotion of people here for God.

We are open every day and welcome visitors!
