WELCOME TO ST HUGH, DURLEIGH
Our vicar, Rev Will Lane, joined us on 7th September 2011. He firmly believes is the limitless and liberal love of Jesus – a love which Jesus calls us to share in this generation.
St Hugh's tradition is Prayer Book low end of Catholic. Our church is a welcoming and inclusive place, and our ministry extends beyond the church walls aiming to demonstrate and share the love of Christ in the wider community.
The church is 700 years old and is in good condition with an excellent ring of six bells. It will hold 70+ people for services.
A great church for Weddings and Baptisms
We use the Book of Common Prayer.
Some young families attend the Sung Eucharist on 1st and 3rd Sundays of Month (11.15am). Children are welcome at all services. The 2nd and 4th Sunday are sung evensong (3.30pm).
