St Mary's Church was built in 851 by John Dobson of Leeds. It has a neo-Gothic Tower and steeply roofed nave. It was completely refurbished internally in 2003 and as a consequence is a superb warm modern building for the exceptionally good and meaningful worship which takes place on Sundays and midweek.
