On Ash Wednesday this year Revd Liz is setting out on a pilgrrimage of prayer and taking on the physical challenge of walking 400,000 steps in Lent. The pilgrimage will end on the Wednesday of Holy Week. You may follow Revd Liz's progress on social media and see who from our congregation may be joining her on the walk! There will be the opportunity to sponsor Revd Liz and monies raised will be divided between St Mark's Heyside and Oldham Street Angels. Please support the pilgrimage with prayer and encourage and support Revd Liz on this physical challenge by sponsoring her, perhaps as part of your Lenten giving, so we can raise as much as possible for the mission and ministry of our church and the important work and mission of Oldham Street Angels. We hope you will follow the journey and offer your prayerful and financial support.
Join us this Lent and Holy Week and as we hope to walk closer with Jesus and journey with Him to Jerusalem, the Upper Room, the Cross Gethsemane, the Cross and the Empty Tomb. Join us for Stations of the Cross each Tuesday and see the attached flyer for details of all services and events. Follow 400,000 Steps in Lent and consider sponsoring Revd Liz to raise money for St Anne's church and Brain Tumour Research. To donate go to the home page and scroll down to the Donate Now button.
