Mothers' Union in Shoreham-by-Sea (11am, each 2nd Monday).

Mothers' Union is hosted at St Mary's for Shoreham-by-Sea and the surrounding area.  All are welcome, no need to be a member - you actually need not be a mother or a parent.

Mothers’ Union is a Christian organisation that has been supporting families worldwide for over 140 years. Started by the founder Mary Sumner in 1876 in her local parish, we have grown into an international charity with over 4 million members in 84 countries.

As a Christian membership charity, we demonstrate our faith in action. This happens as we work towards stopping poverty, stopping inequality and stopping injustice. Our members work at grassroots level around the world. They bring hope and practical support to millions of people every year through parenting, literacy and community development programmes.

The Group at St Mary's meet on each 2nd Monday at 11am in the Parish Centre, so come along and get together for tea/coffee and chat.  Some meetings are simple gatherings with fellowship and friendship while other times there are invited speakers that will be announced.

Although an international organisation you can follow Mothers' Union locally in the Parish via St Mary's website, within the Diocese, or even nationally.
