Our mid-week service of Holy Communion takes place at 11.00am on Tuesdays. This is a said service with a gentle and peaceful atmosphere, in the beautiful space of St Mary's church. A brief homily is preached.

Tuesday evening is practice night! Newcomers are welcome, even if only to see what it's all about. You need not attend St Mary's as a worshipper and the group welcomes all, whether of any faith or of none.
Come along to meet the band at St Mary's main door, just before 7.30pm (although there is no ringing in Holy Week).

Bell's are rung before the 10am Sunday service, on special personal occasions (such as weddings & baptisms) and, of course, on national moments such as Queen Elizabeth's Platinum Jubilee & King Charles' recent Coronation. The band at St Mary's is a lovely group; a mix of men & women, and is not limited to those that worship at St Mary's. Access to the Ringing Room is via a stone, spiral-staircase in the church tower.

Returning for 2024 are the Tours of St Mary's. Always popular, come and hear about this fabulous and ancient building at the heart of Shoreham. Tours are free, but please consider a retiring donation.

For forty days we have been celebrating with joyful hearts the resurrection of our Lord Jesus Christ, his bursting from the tomb and his defeat of the power of sin and death. He appeared to his disciples many times and told them about the kingdom of God.

In this Eucharist we recall how he left this earth and returned to his Father, ascending into heaven to take his throne over all dominions and powers. Trusting in his reign over all creation, and submitting to his kingly yet loving rule, let us hear the story of his parting.

Meditation with Morning Prayer Fridays 8am-8:40am. A time of quietness to begin the day, including the ancient spiritual practice of lectio divina, where we listen to scripture with the ‘ear of the heart’.

Join others in the Parish Centre; bring a project along and work on it with company and conversation.

The busy life of St Mary de Haura is underpinned by a daily rhythm of prayer. From Monday-Saturday at 5.30pm, Evening Prayer is said in church (though online Mondays). Many people find that this short service of readings and prayers is the perfect way to end their day, allowing for peace and reflection in the beautiful surroundings of the chancel.

A quiet said service of Holy Communion lasting about 40 mins. A peaceful and reflective way to start Sunday.

Early-years faith explored through arts, crafts & family fellowship. SHINE meet during the 10am service, in the adjacent church hall. It's a convenient location with good bus & rail links, with nearby car parking available too.

Our main gathering of the week is our Parish Eucharist, with full choir and organ music, lasting about an hour.

Children are especially welcome at the 10am service. Our 'Shine' Sunday School takes place every 2nd and 4th Sunday of the month, beginning at 10am in the Parish Hall for fun, stories and crafts before returning to church for Holy Communion.

On the 3rd Sunday of the month our Parish Eucharist has a simpler and shorter 'all-age' structure, seeking to be especially inclusive of children and young families.

2nd Sunday of the month at 6.00pm in the Lady Chapel.

A short, quiet said service of Night Prayer to end the weekend.

Come along to the Parish Office for tea/coffee, cake, and a chat.
All are welcome, you do not have to be a member. Let’s see how many of us can enjoy getting together.

MU is a Christian organisation which promotes well-being of families, worldwide. Our group at St Mary's meets on 2nd Monday of each month.

We (MU) started out as a Christian group to support mothers and families and that remains at the core of our work and guiding principles, but we welcome you to join us whoever you are - you don’t have to have children, be married, be a woman, or be a churchgoer. There are different ways to belong depending on what works best for you.

A meditative service of Evening Prayer with music from Taizé community.

6.00pm on the 4th Sunday of the month in the St George's Chapel.

Come along to St Mary's Churchyard this Bank Holiday afternoon and bring any unwanted books that you feel might suit a fresh pair of eyes. Declutter your own bookshelf and make way for some new items you might find for yourself, or just enjoy the browsing. The event is part of the wider REclaim Festival, so is to encourage recycling, not just reading.

A short and simple act of worship with story and song, particularly aimed at primary and pre-school aged children and their adults. Followed by a sandwich tea and refreshments.
