Children’s Activities

We have provision for primary age children in the 9:30 service called Early Church. Most weeks we have a small group for young teens at the same time. Early Church has a number of children who worship with us and then leave for 20 minutes for age-appropriate teaching and fun. In the traditional service at 11 there is no children’s provision, but there are toys for young children and draw-string bags with activities for older children at the back of the church. If you have children we suggest you come to our Early Church service at 9:30, though you are most welcome at either.

There is a scout group with beavers and cubs connected to the church. They meet at the scout hut on Netherlands Avenue.

There are two Church Schools in the parish. One is Low Moor Church of England Primary School adjacent to the church; the other is Hill Top Church of England Primary School on Common Road on the other side of the parish. We are involved with both schools and are delighted that they have been judged by Ofsted and Siams to be excellent and good.
