Bath Abbey
The mission of Bath Abbey is 'living and telling the good news of Jesus Christ to the city of Bath and its' visitors'. With a magnificent building at the heart of the beautiful city of Bath, adjacent to the world famous Roman Baths, we welcome residents from around the city and region and visitors from the UK and overseas. Whether joining us as worshippers, pilgrims, tourists, workers or volunteers, we extend warm and open Christian hospitality to all.
Details of services, volunteering opportunities, events and music can be found on our website: bathabbey.org
Details of our safeguarding policy, including links to the Diocese of Bath and Wells' safeguarding pages, can also be found on the homepage of our website.

Safeguarding
At Bath Abbey we are committed to the safety of all our members and take safeguarding seriously. All of our Clergy, staff and volunteers who are in contact with children, young people or vulnerable adults have undergone DBS (Disclosure and Barring System) checks.
We adopt the House of Bishops’ National Safeguarding Policies and Practice, and each new PCC, as one of its first actions, adopts the Diocesan Safeguarding Policy as that for the Abbey.
We work with the Diocesan Safeguarding team, statutory bodies and other agencies to foster and deliver best practice within our community, and have a Safeguarding policy which is reviewed and signed off annually by the PCC.
