Coker Ridge Benefice

The Coker Ridge Benefice is a family of seven parish churches in beautiful South Somerset, just south of Yeovil.

Our Benefice includes: All Saints Closworth; All Saints Sutton Bingham; St Michael & All Angels East Coker; St Roch Pendomer; St Marys Hardington; St Martin of Tours West Coker; and St Marys East Chinnock.

Our collective Benefice Council meets a few times a year, and is led by the Rector Reverend Philip Macaulay. We are blessed with many leaders of different ministries across the Benefice, but key amongst these are our Reader Chris Varley and administrator Barbara Hampshire.

The Rector Leads morning prayer most Wednesdays at different churches around the Benefice. There is normally a chance to share your own prayer needs and reasons to give thanks, though there is no compulsion to do so.

Afternoon Tea for St Georges Day at the Rectory, in the garden

A chance to come for a tea and bit of cake and sit in the sunshine. Please bring a garden chair if possible and if you're able to help Rev Phil with hospitality.
If it is raining the event it cancelled!
At 6pm I will lead a short service of Evening Prayer in St Martin's Church next door.
