We are delighted to announce that on the 7th February 2024 St Andrew's, Compton Bishop, was awarded our first Bronze Award from Eco Church. In October 2024 both St Gregory's, Weare and St John the Baptist, Biddisham joined them. In 2025  St Mary's in Christon and St Congar's in Badgworth gained their award and in Jan 2026 St Andrew's in Loxton completed the set. This award is in recognition of the PCC's efforts towards a more sustainable world. In particular our work on developing a more sustainable and biodiverse Churchyard; a commitment to reusables; recycling and low energy use, as well as continuing to emphasise the wonder of God's Creation in our preaching and services.
