The growing Benefice of Martock, Ash, Kingsbury Episcopi & Muchelney

Welcome to the growing Benefice of Martock, Ash, Kingsbury Episcopi and Muchelney; a fabulous group of 4 churches in a sunny and glorious corner of the South Somerset Levels, walking together through lifes ups and downs, in the sure and certain faith that we are loved by God and, in turn, called to love others.  We look forward to welcoming you and hope we can help you to find your path with God, and that we may have the privilege of journeying with you, whether that is for an hour or a lifetime.

Until the legal arrangements catch up, you will find all activities and service information for the church in Muchelney on a separate webpage on ACNY.

Safeguarding

Our Parish is committed to safeguarding children, young people and adults from harm. We follow the House of Bishops guidance and policies and have our own Parish Safeguarding Officer (PSO). Our Diocese’s safeguarding pages contain vital links and information including contacts for the Diocesan Safeguarding Advisor who advises our PSO. If you are concerned that a child or adult has been harmed or may be at risk of harm please contact the PSO Carol Ansell on 07596 257789, email: [email protected] or the Diocesan Safeguarding Manager - Ben Goodhind on 01749 588917, email: [email protected]. If you have immediate concerns about the safety of someone, please contact the police and your local authority’s children or adult social care services.
