Benefice of Bamber Bridge, St Aidan & Walton le Dale, St Leonard

Welcome to the Benefice of Bamber Bridge, St Aidan and Walton le Dale, St Leonard. We are your local Church of England parishes and a part of Blackburn Diocese.

Being a Benefice means our churches work closely together for both of our communities and strive to live out our vision of  ‘Making Disciples - Transforming lives’. All that we do here is to make the name of Jesus known in our communities.

Both churches would be happy to meet you at any of our services or community events. If you are visiting Church for the first time, there are people to welcome you and guide you through the service.

As a benefice we recognise everyone is called to serve God as disciples. Rev'd Stephen is our vicar and works closely alongside our ministry team made up of our Licensed Lay Minister (LLM), our Authorised Lay Ministers (ALMs) and our Churchwardens, Heather Thomas & Lester Metcalf at St Leonards & Arthur Fish & Ross Kinder at St Aidan's. We are also blessed with a dedicated Pastoral visiting team and Baptism team.

If you would like to learn more you can get in touch by phone, email or our Facebook messenger.
