About Us

Here at St. Aidan and St. Leonard, we are a lively and inclusive community of Christians seeking to know the love of God more deeply for ourselves and to share it with others. We meet together for worship and various other activities at Bamber Bridge, St Aidan and Walton le Dale, St Leonard. In addition to the main Sunday worship and Wednesday Midweek services, we hold monthly Messy Church for families. 

We have excellent relations with our church schools, St Aidan's CE Primary School, Bamber Bridge (https://www.staidansprimaryschool.co.uk/) & St Leonard's Primary School, Walton le Dale (https://www.st-leonards-pri.lancs.sch.uk/)

We believe our faith enriches every part of our lives, and Jesus meets us in both the joys of living and the sadness of dying and death. At St Aidan & St Leonard, we offer joyful baptism and wedding services, and our clergy and lay ministers preside at funerals in church, at the crematorium and at the graveside. If you would like to book a baptism or a wedding, or to have our support after a bereavement, please contact the Vicar, Revd. Stephen or one of our wardens who will guide you through making all the necessary arrangements.
