We are pleased to announce that the Revd Alice Ormondroyd has been appointed as the next Vicar of Warton St Oswald with Yealand Conyers St John, subject to the usual safer recruitment checks. Alice is currently Assistant Curate at St Mary Abbots Church in Kensington, London.

Please do be praying for Alice and her family as they prepare to move and as Alice prepares to take up her new post. The Bishop of Blackburn will institute and the Archdeacon of Lancaster with induct Alice on Sunday 21st January 2024 at 4pm at St Oswald, Warton.

We have received the following introduction from Alice.

I am truly delighted to have been appointed to serve as your new Vicar. I grew up in Yorkshire and am returning to my northern roots along with my husband, Cain, and our three young boys, Arthur, Robin and Theo. We currently live in central London and are very much looking forward to moving to such a beautiful area! Before ordination I was a Secondary Religious Studies Teacher and Lay Chaplain, and I continue to have a passion for helping disciples of all ages to grow in faith. I am really looking forward to getting to know you all and joining in with all that God is doing in the Benefice.
