Fromeside Benefice

We are the churches from the 5 villages of Coalpit Heath, Frampton Cotterell, Iron Acton, Winterbourne and Winterbourne down.

The benefice was formed in 2016 with 4 churches and in 2023 we have been delighted to welcome St. Saviour's into our benefice family.

We enjoy working together and worshipping together, even though we all retain our individual identities.

Safeguarding

Our benefice is committed to safeguarding children, young people and adults from harm. We follow the House of Bishops guidance and policies and have our own Parish Safeguarding Officers (PSO). Our Diocese’s safeguarding pages contain vital links and information including contacts for the Diocesan Safeguarding Advisor who advises our PSOs. If you are concerned that a child or adult has been harmed or may be at risk of harm please contact the relevant PSO, details of our parish safeguarding officers can be found on our website.

If you have immediate concerns about the safety of someone, please contact the police and your local authority’s children or adult social care services.
