Wellspring Villages Celebration Weekend 4/5 October 2025

Wellspring Villages Celebration Weekend

Introducing the Parish of Wellspring Villages

After a time of prayerful consultation, we are pleased to announce that on 7th May 2025, the Right Reverend Vivienne, Bishop of Bristol, approved the union of the parishes of Bishopstone with Hinton Parva and Lyddington and Wanborough.

From 1st June 2025, we will be known as The Parish of Wellspring Villages — a name inspired by both the geography of our four villages and the rich, spiritual symbolism of water in scripture.

Our new parish includes:

St Mary the Virgin, Bishopstone
All Saints, Lyddington
St Andrew's, Wanborough
St Swithun’s, Hinton Parva (continuing as a chapel of ease)

As part of the Archdeaconry of Malmesbury and the Deanery of Swindon, we look forward to growing together in faith and community.

To celebrate coming together, join us for a weekend of walking, exploring, music, food, and community.  Celebrating everything that connects our four villages and the springs that run through them.
