Our Easter Triduum Worship 2025

Easter Church_news

On Maundy (Holy) Thursday, we began our commemoration of Jesus' suffering (Passion), Death and Resurrection of Jesus, with our Holy Communion Service of the Lord's Supper at St. Mary's, Kenardington. On Good Friday, we held two services to remember the death of Jesus. At the Church of the Good Shepherd, we had an ecumenical service, led by our Methodist colleague, Revd Adrian Roux, and culminated with a short walk of witness around the village. Later, in the afternoon, we gathered at St. Rumwold, Bonnington, for the solemn Liturgy of the Last Hour. On Easter Eve, we began our Easter celebrations with our Easter Vigil Communion (see the picture), when we with joy, celebrated the Resurrection of Jesus. Our celebrations continued on Easter Sunday across the Benefice with four Easter Day Communion Services. Many thanks to all those who in any way helped to organise these special church services over the Easter Triduum period.
