An Easter Prayer

Lord Jesus Christ, as Adam was born from the soil on the Sixth day and rested on the Seventh, so you died on the Sixth day, rested on the Seventh, and were reborn from the womb of the earth on the Eighth, eternal day. And as Adam was called to tend the Garden but abused it, so you were found gardening by Mary after your resurrection. Help us to know you more clearly, love you more dearly, and follow you more nearly, day by day. Amen
