Welcome to Eden Churches! We are an Anglican church community based at St Paul's Church, Holme Eden (just outside Warwick Bridge) and the Church of the Holy Trinity and St Constantine, Wetheral.
Our vicar is the Reverend Rory Clare.
We have a mixture of different services across the month, as well as lots of social events and clubs. There's something for everyone, whether you've been going to church your whole life, or whether you've never set foot in a church before.
From January 2026 onwards, our monthly service pattern will be as follows:
First Sunday:
8.30am – BCP Holy Communion – Wetheral
10.00am – Holy Communion – Holme Eden
6.00pm – BCP Sung Evensong – Wetheral
Second Sunday:
10.00am – Engage - Holme Eden
10.30am – Holy Communion – Wetheral
Third Sunday:
10.00am – Holy Communion - Holme Eden
10.30am – Morning Worship - Wetheral
Fourth Sunday:
10.00am – Morning Worship - Holme Eden
10.30am – Holy Communion - Wetheral
Fifth Sunday: (when applicable)
Joint Holy Communion alternating between Holme Eden and Wetheral, starting at
10.00am at Holme Eden and 10.30am at Wetheral

If you are concerned that someone you know is at risk of, or is being abused, or presents a risk to others please seek advice form one of our Safeguarding Officers, one of the staff team, or if necessary report the matter to the Local Authority Social Care Services or Police without delay.
A big part of our mission and outreach is our work with children and families.. All those who serve on our teams have, and continue to receive the relevant training necessary for working with children and families.. All our team members have been DBS checked and approved to serve in their roles. We are supported by the Safeguarding Officer of Carlisle Diocese to whom we will will forward contacts.
Any member of the Church who suspects that a child or vulnerable adult is being abused in any way whatsoever should immediately contact the relevant authority or the police and follow their advice. Please also contact the dioceses Safeguarding officer Joanna Van Lachterop.
